  23. Aha! I was still running on an old version of the HDInstTools - which
  24. didn't show the value that control setting. I've grabbed the latest
  25. version.

  30. Alas, though, they do. I have tried removing the tape drive, removing
  31. the CD-ROM, and changing cable used for the internal SCSI bus. I still
  32. get lock ups. I've measured the quiescent voltages on the pins and
  33. they are around the right value (3/5 of full volts, I think) so the
  34. termination resistors are presumably in correctly. The only time that
  35. I don't get lock ups is when I have just a hard drive.
